Business Plans
Business Plan Development
Plans written for the person who decides — a lender's credit committee, an SBA underwriter or an investor.
The short answer
A financing business plan is a structured document that explains what the business does, who it serves, who runs it, how much capital is needed, what the capital will be used for, and how the debt or investment will be repaid. It includes three-year financial projections with documented assumptions. OCS develops these plans for bank, SBA, franchise and investor audiences.
Reviewed by Joe Maldonado, OCS founder and former commercial banker with more than 20 years of commercial transaction experience.
Audience-specific
A bank plan, an SBA plan and an investor plan emphasize different things. We write for the actual reader.
Numbers tied to narrative
If the plan says you will add two trucks, the projections show the cost, the revenue and the timing.
Local market grounding
Puerto Rico and mainland markets differ. Research reflects the market you actually operate in.
Built with you
We interview you. The plan reflects your business, not a template's assumptions.

The process
We begin with a working session to understand the business, the capital objective and the numbers you already have. From there we research, model and draft, then refine with you through revision rounds until the document is consistent and defensible.
The plan is yours to use and update. We also support follow-up questions from lenders after submission.
What a plan cannot do
A business plan does not create cash flow, repair credit or guarantee approval. It presents your business accurately and completely so that the decision is made on the merits rather than on gaps in the file.
